I spent two days at 365MC in South Korea: This clinic that specializes only in liposuction — here’s everything you need to know about its prices and common pitfalls for 2026

On this trip to Seoul, I didn’t schedule a visit to a Dermatology clinic. Instead, I made a special trip to 365MC in Seocho. The reason is simple: more and more people around me are asking about liposuction, but the information online is either too marketing-oriented or only lists prices without explaining the actual process. So I decided to book an appointment myself, visit the place in person, and check out every floor of the building. After returning, I put together this article using plain language to introduce this clinic that specializes solely in liposuction.

Why go the extra mile to visit 365MC?

In the South Korea cosmetic industry, 365MC stands out as a truly unique institution: it doesn’t offer Double eyelid surgery, nose augmentation, or skin care services. For over 20 years, it has focused exclusively on liposuction. To me, this extreme specialization brings two advantages—first, the medical team deals with fat removal daily, giving them exceptional expertise; second, pre-operative checks, the operating room, and post-operative care are all located in the same building, creating a highly streamlined process. However, specializing in just one procedure also comes with its risks—limited service options, relatively high costs, and a longer recovery period. That’s why I feel it’s important to go into detail about these aspects.

2026 Price Reference (KRW, Estimated Range)

Below are the reference prices I found on BeautsGO and the clinic’s official website. The cost of liposuction varies from person to person, as factors such as the amount of fat, the area treated, and skin elasticity all influence the final price. Therefore, what’s listed here are only the starting prices and typical price ranges—you must definitely schedule a consultation in person for an accurate estimate.

Project Public reference price for 2026 Who is it for?
LAMS LANS Liposuction (50 centum core per tube) Starting at around ₩500,000–600,000 per tube Small treatment area, afraid of general anesthesia, want a quick recovery
Facial Liposuction Starting from around ₩3.52 million Double Chin, Baby Fat, Facial Contours
Waist and Abdominal Liposuction Starting at around ₩4.62 million Fat accumulation on the sides of the waist, lower abdomen, and Love Handles
Thighs liposuction Around ₩3.3–6.4 million Inner and outer sides of Thighs, liposuction, Leg shape correction
Arm liposuction Around ₩1.8–4.4 million Sagging skin, defined arm contours
One-Day Liposuction Package Starting from around ₩6 million The schedule is tight, and I’d like to get it done quickly.
Full-body liposuction Starting from around ₩30 million Simultaneous treatment across multiple areas for comprehensive body reshaping

*The prices listed above are for reference only. The actual quote will depend on the amount of fat to be removed, the combination of treatment areas, skin condition, and the clinic’s current offers. Each LAMS tube contains approximately 50 cc, and the “Infinity LANS” option is suitable for those who need more than 5 tubes for a single treatment area.

The Atmosphere at 365MC Hospitals

I visited the Seocho branch in person.

Exit No. 12 at Gyo-dae Station and head straight—you’ll see 365MC’s standalone building in less than a minute. My first impression was, “This doesn’t look like a clinic; it seems more like an office building.” The ground floor serves as the registration and consultation area, while actual consultations take place on floors 12 and 13. The pre-operative examination center, surgery center, and post-operative care center are all located on different floors. The layout of the entire building is designed around liposuction procedures, allowing patients to stay inside from examination to post-operative care without having to leave, which is particularly convenient for those who have difficulty moving after surgery.

I observed a consultation process: after putting on special clothing, patients first underwent 3D body analysis and ultrasound fat measurement. The doctor then used the data to explain how much fat could be removed and what the expected results would look like. I think this is really commendable—they don’t push full-body liposuction right away; instead, they base their recommendations on the data.

The Interior Layout of 365MC Hospitals

Key Points | Make sure you’ve thought this through before you set off

Focus Point 1|This is a fat-specific clinic, not a general plastic surgery center

The strength of 365MC lies in its specialization, and so do its risks. If you want to undergo Double eyelid surgery or skin management at the same time, it’s not possible here—you’ll need to find another hospital. However, if your goal is liposuction, their medical team focuses solely on this procedure every day. They have specialized teams for everything from facial to leg treatments, as well as for both initial liposuction surgeries and corrective repairs after failed procedures—something that general hospital liposuction departments can hardly match.

Focus Point 2 | LAMS minimally invasive liposuction isn’t a panacea—it’s best suited for refining small areas

LAMS is their flagship minimally invasive liposuction technique, featuring local anesthesia, tiny needle holes, and rapid recovery—many internet users report being able to move around normally on the same day. However, from my experience, LAMS is better suited for smaller areas such as the Double Chin, arms, Accessory Breast (Underarm Fat), and calves. For larger-scale procedures like full abdominal liposuction or thorough Thighs reduction, traditional liposuction or combined treatment methods might be more reliable. During your consultation, be sure to ask clearly which procedure is best suited to your specific situation and don’t let sales tactics influence your decision.

Point 3|AI systems are just aids—ultimately, it’s still the doctors who perform the procedures

The M.A.I.L system developed by 365MC in collaboration with Microsoft tracks surgeons’ movement patterns and issues risk alerts, theoretically reducing the likelihood of uneven results. But let me be realistic: AI is just an auxiliary tool, not an automated surgical robot. The outcome of the procedure still depends on the surgeon’s experience, fat assessment, and individual physiology. Don’t assume everything will go perfectly just because you see “AI liposuction” mentioned.

Focus Point 4|Post-surgery care accounts for half — don’t schedule your itinerary too tightly

There’s a saying in their family: “Surgery accounts for 50%, and aftercare accounts for the other 50%.” The post-surgery care center offers hyperbaric oxygen chambers, low- and medium-frequency therapy devices, lymphatic drainage treatments, and nutritional counseling. Some packages even include follow-up checks up to 6 months later. My advice is: if you’re having a large-area liposuction, stay in Seoul for at least 5–7 days. Return to the clinic for a check-up a few days after the procedure before heading back home. Under no circumstances should you leave right after the procedure on Monday and fly away on Wednesday.

Focus Point 5 | Closed on Sundays, open only until 4 PM on Saturdays – reservations fill up fast

Closed all day on Sundays, and only open until 4 p.m. on Saturdays—Saturdays are usually the busiest. I recommend making a reservation through BeautsGO 1–2 weeks in advance, then double-checking the time before you go. If you’re flying in specifically for surgery, try to schedule your consultation between Tuesday and Friday, reserving Saturday morning for post-operative follow-up.

My Honest Thoughts (Tips to Avoid Pitfalls)

First, liposuction is a surgical procedure, not a weight loss method. The doctors at 365MC will clearly explain that visceral fat cannot be removed through this procedure, and weight won’t drop significantly right away—this honesty actually puts my mind at ease. Second, the “starting price” is just that; the actual cost often rises considerably depending on the number of areas treated, the specific body parts, and the type of surgery. Make sure to ask about the price range when scheduling an appointment. Third, after undergoing liposuction over a large area, you might need to stay in the hospital for 1–2 nights. While the hospital has its own inpatient wards, you should check in advance about the availability of rooms and any rules regarding companions. Fourth, don’t rely solely on online posts showing how much weight was lost—about 30% of the final results depend on post-surgery care, and diet and exercise after returning home are equally important.
