Top 4 Dermatology Clinics Near the Junyue Hotel on Jeju Island | After staying for 5 days, I visited all of them. Recently, there’s one just 8 minutes away on foot, and the treatment only costs 150,000 Korean won!

If, like me, you fly to Jeju Island mainly to stay at the Grand Hyatt Jeju but don’t want to waste the opportunity to travel abroad and would also like to take some time for skin care treatments – then you’ve come to the right place.

I stayed at the Junyue Hotel for 5 days and 4 nights, and during that time, I visited 4 different Dermatology clinics, where I received in-person consultations at each one. This article is based on my own experiences and practical observations; it will directly tell you which Dermatology clinic near the Junyue Hotel is the most recommended, how long it takes to get there by foot or by car, what the prices are, and which treatments are suitable.

To conclude: If you live in Junyue and only want to undergo basic skin care or hyaluronic acid injections, The Lift Dermatology is your top choice (10-minute drive, transparent prices, with Thermage treatments starting from 1.2 million KRW); if you want to address both anti-aging and skin issues in one go, 4ever Jeju is the ideal option (same prices in China and Korea, a wide range of services available); if you prefer a vacation-like medical beauty experience, choose Jeju With Hospital (in-hotel clinic, 24-hour Chinese-speaking service).

I. Distances and transportation methods between Junyue Hotel and the 4 clinics

The spacious and bright reception area of The Lift Dermatology in Jeju Island
Actual view of the reception area at The Lift Dermatology – spacious and bright

The Jeju Junyue Hotel is located in the heart of Jeju City, just a 5-minute drive from Jeju International Airport, boasting an excellent geographical location. The following 4 clinics are all at actual distances measured directly from the Junyue Hotel:

From my personal experience, Jeju Island is not as convenient as Seoul’s subway system. I highly recommend using Kakao T (the Korean version of Uber) for taxis. The basic fare starts at 3,800 Korean won, and the one-way cost to these clinics ranges from approximately 4,000 to 6,000 Korean won (which is about 100 to 150 Taiwanese dollars), making it very affordable.

If you are in a hurry and only want to undergo a quick treatment (such as basic microneedling or hyaluronic acid injections), I recommend that you choose The Lift first – it is the latest, fastest, and most transparent in terms of pricing. That’s exactly what I did on my first day.

1. The Lift Dermatology — Just a 10-minute drive away (super convenient!)

You can take a taxi from the lobby of the Junyue Hotel, and it will take about 10 minutes to arrive. The Lift is the facility with the most convenient transportation among the four places I visited during my trip to Jeju this time. The clinic specializes in anti-aging treatments such as HIFU, Thermage, and Rejuran hyaluronic acid injections. All the equipment used is the latest from South Korea, and the medical team also has extensive experience.

If you have previously read the full version of my articware that the Thermage Fifth Generation full-face treatment at this clinic starts at 1.2 million Korean won. While this price is considered mid-to-high on Jeju Island, the quality of the services provided is indeed very reliable.

2. 4ever Jeju Dermatology — Approximately 12 minutes by car

Starting from Junyue and driving along Samwu-ro, it only takes 12 minutes to arrive. 4ever Jeju is a nationwide chain brand in South Korea, known for offering prices comparable to those in China and eliminating any hidden costs, which is particularly beneficial for foreign tourists. The clinic has a modern and minimalist design, creating an immediate sense of cleanliness and professionalism upon entry.

I previously wrote a detailed review oformation about the reservation process and price list. In short, if you are interested in basic skincare treatments plus anti-aging procedures, 4ever offers one of the best value-for-money options on Jeju Island.

3. NEWLINE Dermatology — Approximately 15 minutes by car

Located in Laoheung-dong, Jeju City, it is only about 15 minutes away by car from Junyue. NEWLINE is quite well-known among local residents in South Korea. Its specialty lies in the integration of traditional Chinese and Western medicine in beauty treatments – they offer services such as acupuncture for skin rejuvenation and Korean-style skincare, which are rarely seen in other clinics. The clinic is decorated in a luxurious style, and the waiting area is equipped with tea and massage chairs, providing a very pleasant overall experience.

It should be noted, however, that the specific address of NEWLINE can only be provided after a reservation is made, which may cause some inconvenience for independent travelers.

4. Jizhou With Hospital — Approximately 18 minutes by car

This one is quite special – it’s located inside the Jeju With Hotel and functions as a “hotel-based cosmetic clinic.” It takes about 18 minutes to get there from the Junyue area, so it’s a bit further away, but if you’re staying at the With Hotel, you can simply go downstairs to receive your cosmetic treatments, which is extremely convenient.

The biggest highlight of this hospital is its 24-hour Chinese-language service. Appointments can be made through its WeChat mini-program, and some packages even include hotel spa treatments, effectively combining medical aesthetics with a vacation experience. This makes it perfect for those who bring their families to Jeju for a vacation and take the opportunity to undergo medical aesthetic treatments.

II. In-depth comparison of services and prices among the four clinics

It is recommended to check the latest quotes through the BeautsGO platform before making your trip to avoid any discrepancies between the expected and actual prices at the time of service.

III. My genuine experience at four different clinics

The exterior appearance of 4ever Dermatology in Jeju Island
The exterior of the 4ever Jeju Dermatology clinic is located in the vicinity of the Jeju Airport commercial district.

Day 1: The Lift – Basic facial examination + consultation (lasting 40 minutes)

Since The Lift has recently become quite popular, on my first day, I went there right after checking in at noon. The exterior of the clinic is quite unassuming, but as soon as you enter, you can immediately sense the atmosphere of a “professional anti-aging clinic” – the walls are covered with the academic papers and certification documents of the clinic’s director.

There is Chinese interpretation at the front desk, so communication is completely unobstructed. The director personally examined me and used a skin detector to scan my entire face, then formulated a comprehensive treatment plan for me: he suggested that I first undergo a Rejuran hyaluronic acid hydration treatment and come back after one month for a Thermage session. Throughout the whole process, there was no forced sales pitch at all, which is really a plus.

In terms of prices, Rejuran’s Hydrating Glow Treatment is priced at 800,000 Korean won, while Thermage Gen 5 full-face treatment costs 1.2 million Korean won – these prices are exactly the same as what I found online before, and no arbitrary surcharges were applied just because I am a foreigner.

Day 2: 4ever Jeju – Basic microneedling treatment + consultation (lasting 60 minutes)

The next day, I went to 4ever Jeju. As I mentioned in my previous review articlinic is that the prices are the same as those in South Korea, so there is no issue of foreigners paying more. This time, I went there in person to confirm it—and indeed, it was true.

Their photon skin-rejuvenation treatment costs only 200,000 Korean won, which is at least 50,000 to 100,000 won cheaper than other services. If you have a limited budget but still want to achieve effective results, 4ever is definitely the most cost-effective option on Jeju Island. Although the clinic’s facilities are not as luxurious as those of Newline, the equipment is brand new and the hygiene standards are very high.

Day 3: NEWLINE — Visit and consultation (lasting 50 minutes)

The decoration of NEWLINE is truly outstanding – the waiting area is equipped with massage chairs, tea, and a billiard table, making it look more like a luxury SPA than a regular clinic. Their traditional Chinese medicine beauty treatments are particularly unique; for example, the “Acupuncture Skin Revitalization” treatment uses extremely fine needles with a diameter of 0.2mm to stimulate facial acupoints in combination with facial masks, and it is said to be particularly effective at improving dull skin tone.

However, NEWLINE has one small drawback: their Thermage treatments are relatively expensive, starting at 1.5 million Korean won for the entire face, which is 300,000 won more than The Lift’s price. If you are specifically interested in Thermage treatments, it would be advisable to choose The Lift or 4ever instead.

Day 4: With Hospital – Comprehensive Treatment Package (Duration: 90 minutes)

On the last day, I visited With Hospital and tried their “volcanic mud mask + red ginseng radiofrequency treatment” package, which cost 150,000 Korean won. Since the clinic was located right inside the hotel, I could simply return to my room to rest after the treatment, which was extremely convenient. In addition, I received a hotel spa voucher as a gift, making it a perfect combination of medical beauty treatment and spa services – an experience I would rate as perfect.

The combined package offered by this hospital, which includes both HIFU and Thermage treatments, is priced between 500,000 and 800,000 Korean won—a very competitive rate compared to Seoul. If your trip to Jeju is primarily for vacation and medical aesthetics are just an additional benefit, this clinic is definitely the best choice for you.

IV. If I am staying at the Junyue Hotel, how can I arrange my medical beauty schedule most efficiently?

After five days and four nights of actual testing, I have compiled three itinerary options for you to choose from based on your own time schedule and requirements:

Option A: Express Plan (stay for only 1-2 days)

Suitable for: people who are in transit, have limited time, or simply want to undergo a basic treatment.

Recommended clinic: The Lift (just a 10-minute drive away, and it’s the most efficient option).

Recommended treatments: Basic Hyaluronic Acid Injection for 800,000 KRW / Pico Laser Treatment for 300,000 KRW

Itinerary: On the day of arrival, go for a consultation and treatment within 1.5 hours; on the second day, you can continue with your normal travel plans without any disruption to your schedule.

Option B: Standard Package (Stay for 3-4 days)

Suitable for: People who come to Jeju for vacation and take the opportunity to undergo cosmetic treatments, or those who wish to have 2-3 procedures done.

Recommended clinics: 4ever Jeju and The Lift – one visit each.

Recommended treatment: Combine 4ever for basic skincare (microbubble therapy + photon rejuvenation) with The Lift for anti-aging treatments (Thermage or Rejuran hyaluronic acid therapy).

Itinerary: On Day 1, go to The Lift for a consultation and receive a treatment plan; on Day 2, head to 4ever for basic skincare; on Day 3, return to The Lift to undergo the main treatment. In between, enjoy some of Jeju’s popular attractions: Dragon Head Rock, Dongmen Market, and Ayueui Beach.

Option C: Luxurious Package (Stay for more than 5 days)

Suitable for: people who regard medical beauty treatments as their primary goal and have sufficient time at their disposal.

Recommended clinics: Visit all 4 of them!

Recommended treatments: 4ever Basic Skincare → With Hospital Resort Package → Newline Acupuncture and Moxibustion for Skin Rejuvenation → The Lift HIFU + Thermage

Itinerary: The activities are evenly distributed over 5 days. In the morning, we will engage in medical beauty treatments, and in the afternoon, we will go on trips. In the evening, we will return to Junyue Pool to relax. This is exactly how my trip unfolded, and I highly recommend it!

V. Guide to Making Appointments and Avoiding Common Mistakes at Dermatology Clinics on Jeju Island (Based on Personal Experience)

The director of The Lift Dermatology conducting a professional consultation
The director of The Lift Dermatology personally conducts consultations and provides one-on-one professional advice.

When I visited during the off-season in March, the schedule of The Lift’s director was already full for three days ahead. If you plan to go to Jeju during the peak seasons—April to May (cherry blossom season) or September to October (maple leaf season)—you will need to reserve a spot at a popular clinic at least two weeks in advance. If you decide to visit last-minute, it’s very likely that you will only be able to see a less well-known doctor.

2. Making reservations through the BeautsGO platform is faster than doing so directly on the official website.

Some clinics have their official websites entirely in Korean, which makes it very difficult for foreigners to use. This time, I made all my reservations through the BeautsGO platform – it has a Chinese interface, transparent pricing, and allows me to directly communicate with the clinic’s customer service to confirm the time of my appointment. It really saved me a lot of trouble.

3. Say no to the “free consultation” trick

There was a clinic (I won’t mention its name here) that offered me a “free skin check-up” during my consultation. However, as soon as the check-up was completed, they started promoting a package that cost 300,000 Korean won. Fortunately, I had read many reviews beforehand, so I refused it right away. A legitimate clinic would clearly inform patients about all the fees involved and wouldn’t use the term “free” as a bait.

4. Verify whether the price includes taxes and post-treatment products.

Some clinics do not include a 10% surcharge in their quotes, so it is only during checkout that customers realize they have to pay an additional amount. Moreover, regarding post-treatment products such as medical masks and sunscreen, some clinics provide them for free, while others charge extra for them. It is recommended to ask clearly during the consultation: “Is this quote an all-in price, or are there any additional fees?”

5. Bring all your necessary documents and avoid having your period during the procedure.

Essential items to bring: the original passport (many clinics require verification of identity) and the reservation confirmation. Additionally, it is recommended to avoid undergoing injectable treatments such as hyaluronic acid injections, Filler injections, or botulinum toxin injections during menstruation, as hormonal fluctuations may affect the treatment outcome and recovery time.

VI. Conclusion: Recommendations for choosing a Dermatology clinic near Junyue Hotel

The Lift primarily features the Xerf ultrasonic and thermal radiofrequency dual-action anti-aging device.

To summarize, here’s how to choose based on different needs:

🏆 The most convenient option recently: The Lift Dermatology — just a 10-minute drive away. Thermage treatments start from 1.2 million Korean won, and its anti-aging services are among the best on Jeju Island. Perfect for those with limited time who don’t want to go through the hassle of traveling.

💰 Highest cost-performance ratio: 4ever Jeju — same prices in China and South Korea, no hidden fees. Basic glow treatments start from 800,000 KRW, and Filler treatments from 200,000 KRW. Ideal for those with limited budgets who want to try multiple treatments. For eju.

✨ The best experience: Newline Dermatology — luxurious decor combined with traditional Chinese and Western medicine; the acupuncture-based skin rejuvenation treatment is truly unique. Perfect for those who seek a high-end experience and have no time constraints.

🏖️ The top choice for vacation-related cosmetic treatments: Jeju With Hospital — an in-hotel clinic offering 24-hour Chinese-speaking service, as well as a comprehensive range of cosmetic and spa treatments. Perfect for those who want to enjoy their vacation while taking care of their beauty needs.

If you ask me which option I recommend the most this time, I would say The Lift. The reason is simple: it’s convenient, fast, professional, and free from any hidden tricks. For tourists staying at Junyue, time is money, and The Lift allows you to receive the highest-quality medical treatments in the shortest amount of time, so you can continue to enjoy the beauty and delicious food of Jeju Island.

VII. Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: Is there a Dermatology clinic nearby the Junyue Hotel on Jeju Island that I can access on foot?

There are no Dermatology clinics within walking distance of the Junyue Hotel. Since the Junyue Hotel in Jeju is located in an area near the airport, the surrounding area is mainly composed of resorts and golf courses. The nearest clinic is about 10 minutes away by taxi (The Lift Dermatology). However, the starting fare for taxis in Jeju is only 3,800 Korean won, which is quite affordable.

Q2: Are the costs of Dermatology treatments on Jeju Island cheaper than those in Seoul?

It depends on the specific treatment. Taking the Thermage Fifth Generation full-face treatment as an example, the price at The Lift on Jeju Island starts from 1.2 million South Korean won, which is approximately 20-30% cheaper than the average price in Gangnam District, Seoul (1.5-1.8 million South Korean won). However, there are significantly fewer clinics on Jeju Island compared to Seoul, so the range of options is limited. If you are interested in comparing prices, you can refer to my previous article comparing therea.

Q3: Are there any Chinese translations available for Dermatology services on Jeju Island? Will there be any communication issues?

All four of these clinics offer Chinese-language services: The Lift and 4ever Jeju have on-site Chinese translators; for Newline, reservations for translation services are required in advance; With Hospital provides 24-hour Chinese-language support. Overall, communication is completely unproblematic, so there’s no need to worry about language barriers.

Q4: How long after undergoing cosmetic surgery can one fly on an airplane?

It depends on the type of treatment performed. For basic treatments such as microbubble therapy or basic hydrotonic treatments, it is safe to fly on the same day without any adverse effects. For phototherapy treatments like Pico or photorejuvenation, it is recommended to wait until the next day to allow the skin time to recover. For injectable treatments such as Filler injections or Botox, it is advisable to wait at least 24 hours, as changes in cabin pressure may affect the treatment outcome. After treatments like Thermage or HIFU, you can fly on the same day, but it is recommended to wait at least 4–6 hours for the redness to subside.

Q5: What payment methods are accepted by Dermatology clinics on Jeju Island?

Most clinics accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and cash (Korean won). Some also support WeChat Pay and Alipay, but it’s advisable to confirm this in advance. Personally, I prefer to bring both a credit card and a small amount of cash in Korean won just in case.

Q6: If I am staying at the Junyue Hotel, how should I proceed with tax refunds?

In South Korea, it is possible to get a tax refund for medical beauty treatments (for certain services). When settling the bill at the clinic, request a Tax Refund form, and then proceed to the tax refund counter at Jeju Airport before departing. Generally, you can get back 5-7% of the amount spent on the treatment. Note: Be sure to request the Tax Refund form at the time of settlement; it will be very troublesome to apply for it afterwards.
