When shopping in Myeongdong, Seoul, you often come across a building next to an Apple flagship store. On the 8th floor is the TOXNFILL Myeongdong branch. As an ordinary tourist who spent a week in Seoul, I went there with the intention of just taking a look, but ended up getting a treatment that day and later researched a lot about it. In this article, I share my personal experience, the actual costs, and the detailed price list, hoping it will be helpful for those considering cosmetic procedures in Myeongdong.

What is TOXNFILL?
TOXNFILL is a Korean chain of dermatology clinics that has been operating since 2012. With over 38 branches across Korea, it is one of the leading brands for minimally invasive cosmetic treatments. The Myeongdong branch, located in a prime commercial area, receives more than a thousand foreign visitors every month, and both Chinese and English services are excellent.
Their core philosophy is the “Three Principles of Integrity” – genuine products, accurate dosages, and honesty. It sounds like a marketing slogan, but I truly felt these principles in action during my consultation. The doctor carefully showed me the anti-counterfeiting markings on the botulinum toxin vials and explained the dosage for each injection. For someone doing cosmetic procedures in Korea for the first time, such transparency is very reassuring.

What I had done was tear trough filling using Restylane Eyelight 0.5cc. I made an appointment on the same day and had the procedure done right away; the whole process took about 40 minutes. After applying the anesthetic ointment for 20 minutes, there was almost no pain at all. The doctor would check the results in the mirror after each injection, which I found to be even more meticulous than some clinics in Taiwan.

Personal experience: The visiting experience at the Myeongdong store

The Myeongdong location is on the 8th floor of the same building as the Apple flagship store. As soon as you enter the elevator, you can see the reception area of the clinic. The overall decor is clean, with white as the main color. It’s not luxurious, but it feels upscale.
I visited around 3 p.m. that day, and there were several groups of customers inside the clinic, many of whom spoke Mandarin or Cantonese. The staff at the front desk could communicate in Chinese; their vocabulary wasn’t fluent, but it was sufficient for basic conversations. They had a Chinese information sheet, and using it to explain things was much more efficient than speaking directly.
Consultation Process
Upon entering, you first need to fill out a basic information form (including your skin condition, whether you have any allergies, and what treatments you have previously undergone). Then, you wait for about 10 minutes before the doctor conducts a consultation. The doctor’s Chinese was a bit accented, but he tried very hard to express himself clearly. When he couldn’t explain something properly, he would use gestures or write notes to help. The entire consultation took approximately 15–20 minutes; there was no rush, giving you plenty of time to think before making a decision.
My main concern was fine lines and slight wrinkles. After evaluating my condition, the doctor recommended Hyaluronic Acid fillers for the tear troughs (Eyelight 0.5cc), stating that this approach would provide more immediate and lasting results compared to laser treatment. He didn’t insist on more expensive options, which made me feel more at ease.
