🏥 PIND Dermatology Information Card (BeautsGO Real-Time Schedule)
Why did I notice PIND?
To be honest, there are so many Dermatology clinics in Gangnam that it’s hard to know which one to choose. I first heard about PIND at a get-together with friends who were studying in South Korea—someone mentioned, “Although this clinic opened in 2022, its director used to work at the Oracle branch in Cheongdam, and they specialize in advanced anti-aging treatments.”
At that moment, I wondered: an ANEW hospital? I’d never heard of it. But after researching Director Huang Zongyi’s background—graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine, former chief physician at the Dermatology Center of ID Hospital, with over 10,000 real-world treatment cases—I realized it was definitely worth a visit.
Plus, it’s located just 3 minutes’ walk from Exit 4 of Xinnanlu Station, which is incredibly convenient for someone like me who tries to walk as little as possible. So I headed there right after work last Tuesday.

Process from arrival: From the subway station to the treatment bed
Transportation: Exit No. 4 at Sin-Nonhyeon Station on Subway Line 9, then head straight along Nonhyeon-ro for less than 5 minutes. There’s a easily recognizable café on the first floor of the JY Building, and PIND is just two floors up via elevator. The whole route is very straightforward with no need to take detours.
Check-in: The receptionist will verify your appointment details (make sure to bring your passport! Real-name registration is required for medical services in South Korea), and then help you fill out the basic questionnaire and informed consent form. There’s a Chinese version of the forms available, so you don’t need to worry about language barriers.
In-person consultation: This is what I really want to emphasize—it’s the director himself who handles your consultation. There’s no proxy involved; Director Huang Zongyi takes care of everything from the initial assessment and skin analysis using specialized devices to formulating a treatment plan. He explains things to you in a straightforward manner: “Your skin condition is characterized by dryness in the epidermis along with collagen loss in the dermis. I recommend taking a two-step approach…” He avoids using a bunch of technical jargon.
Plan options: I really like this aspect — they offer three plans with different budgets (Basic/Advanced/Complete), with the item combinations and prices for each plan clearly listed. They don’t keep pushing you to go with the most expensive option; instead, they recommend based on your actual needs and budget.

Project and Price Reference Table
PIND adopts a pricing strategy of equal prices for both Korean and foreign clients—there’s no extra charge just because you’re a foreigner. Below are the reference prices for popular procedures I’ve compiled (as of 2026, subject to an in-person consultation):
💡 Personal experience: PIND’s Thermage prices in Gangnam are considered on the lower side compared to other clinics in the area. For the same number of sessions, it’s 15–25% cheaper than some larger chain clinics. The director told me their strategy is to invest in equipment and treatment quality rather than luxurious interiors, and I could definitely tell that when I was there—the facility was clean and comfortable, but not extravagant at all.

How does it compare to large chain Dermatology clinics?
8 Things You Must Know Before Making an Appointment
| Focus Point 1|Is the director’s background truly reliable? |
Dr. Huang Zongyi graduated from the College of Medicine at Katolik University—one of South Korea’s top medical institutions. He has served as the director of the Dermatology department at Oracle Dermatology in Cheongdam and as the chief physician at the Dermatology Center at ID Hospital. A full member of the Korean Dermatological Association, he holds official certification for Thermage FLX. In 2022, he founded PIND, and to date, the clinic has completed over 10,000 treatment cases. ⚠️ Note: Since he operates on a one-doctor-only basis, slots are limited, so appointments during peak times should be made 1–2 weeks in advance.
| Focus Point 2|What does “layered anti-aging” mean? |
This is the core philosophy behind PIND: different levels of skin concerns require different treatment devices. For issues in the epidermis layer (such as dullness and dryness), Pico or water laser treatments are used; for problems in the dermal layer (like fine lines and sagging), Thermage or Sofwave is applied; and for concerns in the fascial layer (such as sagging skin and blurred contours), HIFU, Titanium Lifting, or thread lifting techniques are employed. Instead of recommending the most expensive option right from the start, treatments are customized based on the results of the skin assessment.
| Focus Point 3|Things to Note About Business Hours |
Open Monday/Wednesday/Thursday from 10:00 to 19:00, Tuesday/Friday from 10:00 to 20:00, Saturday from 10:00 to 15:00, and closed on Sundays. If you’re short on time, it’s recommended to schedule an appointment on Tuesday or Friday (open until 8 p.m.). It’s only open until 3 p.m. on Saturdays, with very limited slots available. Lunch break is uniformly from 14:00 to 15:00.
| Focus Point 4|To What Extent Is Chinese Service Provided? |
While the hospital’s front desk primarily uses Korean, booking through the BeautsGO platform ensures round-the-clock Chinese translation services throughout your visit. This includes appointment confirmation, reception upon arrival, interpretation during consultations, and guidance on post-operative care. It’s recommended to arrange a Chinese-speaking customer service representative in advance via the BeautsGO mini-program or their official WeChat account bicimei6.
| Focus Point 5|How Transparent Are the Prices? |
PIND follows a policy of identical prices for both South Koreans and foreign guests—everyone pays the same rate. After the consultation, the director will provide a clear quote without any hidden fees. I specifically asked during the consultation, “Are there any other costs?” and was told that “the anesthesia fee and all consumables are already included in the quote.” Of course, the final price is still based on the quote given during that day’s consultation.
| Focus Point 6|Post-surgery Recovery and Follow-up |
Anti-aging treatments such as Thermage, HIFU, and Titanium Lifting virtually require no recovery time. Slight redness and swelling may occur after the procedure, but they subside within 1–2 hours, allowing patients to wear makeup normally the next day. PIND offers post-treatment follow-up services, with some treatments supporting online check-ups. The clinic’s team also provides care guides covering tips on sun protection and moisturization. It is said that the recovery period is about 30% shorter compared to other clinics in the industry.
| Focus Point 7|Is the equipment genuine? |
This can be easily verified — all PIND devices come with QR codes that allow users to confirm their authenticity. Equipment such as Thermage FLX, the Ulthrea HIFU system, Sofwave, and Inmode all carry official manufacturer certifications. In my treatment room, I noticed a verification QR code attached to each device, and by scanning it with my phone, I could see the official authorization details.
| Focus Point 8|Who Is It Suitable For |
Suitable for: those who prioritize cost-effectiveness, prefer to have the procedure performed by the chief physician in person, dislike being pushed for unnecessary services, and have flexible time to schedule appointments
during weekdays or in the evening. Not suitable for: those who want to undergo treatments on weekends (we are open only until 3 p.m. on Saturdays and closed on Sundays), those seeking a luxurious treatment environment, or those who need 24/7 emergency care. Additionally, due to the fact that there is only one chief physician, wait times may range from 1 to 2 weeks during peak seasons.

My Experience Summary
After visiting so many Dermatology clinics in Gangnam, PIND gives me the impression of being small but highly professional, with a sincere and down-to-earth approach.
There’s no luxurious lobby, nor a row of attractive nurses standing in line, but the director’s personal attention throughout the process gives patients great peace of mind. The prices are quite reasonable for Gangnam, especially for Thermage and HIFU treatments—much cheaper than several chain clinics I checked out before.
The only thing to keep in mind is that since the consultations are conducted by the director in person, slots are really limited and highly competitive. I booked for Tuesday afternoon, and by then only two time slots were left. If you’re determined to go, it’s recommended to make a reservation through BeautsGO at least 1–2 weeks in advance.
