Busan Lizon Dermatology Prices in 2026|Facial treatments in Seomyeon start at 200,000 KRW – How can a chain store charge this much? The actual figures I found out

On this trip to Busan, I didn’t head to Haeundae. Instead, I found a chain Dermatology clinic near the Seomyeon subway station—Lizon. The reason I chose it was because I first checked its price range on BeautsGO: basic hydration treatments start at 150,000 Korean won, Shurink full-face treatment at 300 shots for 190,000 Korean won, and Thermage FLX full-face treatment at 600 shots for 1.99 million Korean won. Compared to the prices in Gangnam, Seoul—which often run into three to four million Korean won—these figures definitely made me pause for a few seconds. But even though it was cheaper, I still had many questions: Why such a big difference for the same Thermage treatment? Are the doctors at chain clinics just part of an “assembly line” system? Are there any hidden costs after the procedure? So I went through the whole process of making an appointment, having a consultation, and getting a quote. This article summarizes the actual prices I received along with my reasoning behind my decisions.

Why did I check Lizon’s price list first?

I’ve noticed that many readers looking for Dermatology options in South Korea don’t ask first “Which clinic offers the best results?” but rather “Do I have enough budget?” It’s quite realistic. Especially for treatments like Thermage, ultrasound, and hyaluronic acid injections, the price difference between Seoul and other cities can be so significant that you might wonder if they’re even using the same equipment. Lizon is a chain brand that started out in Hongdae, Seoul, and now has over 10 branches across South Korea, with its Busan branch located right in the heart of Seomyeon shopping district. Chain stores usually have better bargaining power since they purchase large quantities of equipment and supplies, which helps keep prices lower. However, there are also clear drawbacks—standardized services may not suit those who are looking for high-end, personalized care tailored by a specialist director.

So my goal this time is very simple: no talk of nostalgia or atmosphere—first, I’ll lay out the prices clearly, and then figure out who it’s suitable for and who it isn’t.

Lizon Dermatology 2026 Estimated Price List

The prices listed below are based on the ranges I found on the BeautsGO page as well as from in-person consultations. Lizon adopts a “range-based” pricing approach, meaning the actual cost will vary depending on the number of sessions, treatment area, product brand, and any current promotions. The final price will still be determined after a consultation with the clinic director.

Project Reference Price (KRW) Notes
Basic Moisturizing Glow Serum ₩150,000–380,000 per session Depends on the product brand and the number of Centum Core units
Rejuran PN Glow Essence ₩250,000–500,000 per session Typically starting from 2 cc
Juvelook Collagen Glow Serum ₩200,000–450,000 per session Ideal for reducing fine lines and improving skin texture

Shurink Full Face Treatment: 300 Shots Starting from ₩190,000 Korean-style HIFU: An Easy Entry into Lift Therapy
Thermage FLX Full Face Treatment – 600 Shots Starting from ₩1.99 million Common promotional prices at chain stores
Filler injection ₩200,000–600,000 per centum core There’s a big price gap between Korean-made and imported brands.
Botox facelift / wrinkle reduction ₩800,000–250,000 / area By Unit and Brand
Lipolysis needles ₩150,000–400,000 / area Multiple treatment sessions are usually required.
Acne/Pores Management Package ₩150,000–500,000 / treatment course It’s often used in combination with lasers and skincare routines.

▲ The above are reference ranges; the actual price will be based on the consultation quote provided by the clinic director.

It’s the same Thermage treatment — why can Lizon be priced at 1.99 million won?

This is the question I really want to get answered on the spot. After all, in Gangnam, Seoul, the price for Thermage FLX full-face treatment at 600 shots often ranges from 3 to 4 million Korean won. There are mainly three reasons why Lizon offers a lower price:

The first factor is rent and labor costs. Although Seomyeon is part of Busan’s bustling areas, rent here is still lower compared to places like Gangnam, Cheongdam, and Sinsa. Chain clinics also have relatively standardized staffing structures, so they don’t need to hire too many “star doctors.”

The second factor is the bargaining power regarding equipment and consumables. Lizon operates over 10 clinics in South Korea, and its procurement volume of Thermage probes and hyaluronic acid injections is much larger than that of individual clinics, which naturally results in different pricing from the manufacturers or official distributors. One thing to keep in mind here: low prices don’t necessarily mean fake products, but if the price is extremely low, it’s still important to verify the probe packaging and machine certification in person.

Third is the difference between the “promotion price” and the “regular price.” 1.99 million won is usually the price during a promotion or for a first-time consultation, with the regular price potentially being higher. Some packages may also include post-surgery care or other additional services. It’s recommended to ask directly during your consultation: “Does this price include post-surgery sedation? Are there any extra out-of-pocket costs? Will the probe be opened in person?”

A firsthand experience: From booking to getting your quote

I chose to go for my appointment on a Saturday morning. Right after exiting the Seomyeon station, cross the road and you’ll find the Sungwon Medical Building right next to it. Take the elevator up to the 15th floor to reach Lizon. There’s no lunch break on Saturdays, but the wait times are longer than usual, so it’s recommended to make an appointment in advance. I submitted my reservation request in Chinese through BeautsGO ahead of time, and upon arrival, a staff member who spoke Chinese helped me fill out the forms.

Before the in-person consultation, a basic skin assessment is conducted first, after which the clinic director evaluates the situation. I directly mentioned that I was interested in knowing about the combination treatment using Thermage and hyaluronic acid filler. The director offered two options: doing only Thermage FLX on the entire face for around 1.99 million Korean won; or combining it with basic hyaluronic acid treatment and post-procedure care, which would cost approximately 2.3–2.5 million Korean won. I didn’t make a decision on the spot but asked them to print out a quote for me, detailing each service, the number of sessions, the product names, and the corresponding prices.

I think Lizon does a good job in this regard: their quote format is consistent, eliminating the ambiguity of “we’ll tell you on the spot.” On the downside, the consultation time is quite limited, so if you have many questions, it’s advisable to prepare a list in advance.

Beyond price, 5 other factors I noticed at these hospitals

Focus Point 1 | Its prime location just 1–2 minutes away from the Seomyeon station makes transporta
tion extremely convenient, making it an ideal stop for tourists or those planning a quick trip to Busan on weekends. However, it’s closed on Sundays and public holidays, and it tends to get crowded in the afternoons on Saturdays, so it’s best to avoid these peak times.

Focus Point 2|Director Jeong Yeon-jae’s Experience Running Chain Clinics. T
he director has previously served as the head of the Hongdae branch of Lian Clinic and the Seomyeon branch of Ppeum Clinic, giving him deep familiarity with the standardized operations of chain clinics. If you’re seeking a “high-end, private one-on-one service,” this might not be quiet enough for your needs; however, if what you want is “stability, reliability, and transparent pricing,” his experience is a significant advantage.

Focus Point 3|The Cost of the Affordable Route: Time and Precision. Lizon’s adv
antage lies in its affordable prices, but the consultation process is fast-paced and post-operative care is relatively basic. If you have complex skin issues or require long-term follow-up, it’s advisable to consider whether you can accept “standardized services.”

Focus Point 4|Appointments and Waiting Times: Popular proced
ures tend to have longer queues on weekends and at night. I went there on a Saturday morning, and from registration, testing, consultation to receiving the quote, it took around 1 hour in total. If you want to undergo the procedure right away on the same day, it’s recommended to make that clear when booking so the clinic can set aside the necessary time.

Focus Point 5|Language and post-op communication: Chinese-
speaking support is available on-site. When consulting, ask them to summarize the key points via WeChat or in writing. If you experience any discomfort after the procedure, it’s recommended to take photos first and then send them through the booking channel—don’t rely solely on verbal instructions.

My honest take: Who is Lizon suitable for, and who isn’t?

Ideal for those with a limited budget, who want to get facial treatments in Seomyeon at the same time, trust well-known chain brands, and prefer relatively standard procedures such as hyaluronic acid injections, Pico treatments, Shurink, or Thermage. If you’re looking for routine maintenance rather than high-end customized treatments, Lizon’s prices are indeed very competitive.

Not suitable for those who prioritize absolute privacy, have complex skin conditions that require ongoing monitoring, or expect the doctor to spend over 30 minutes discussing treatment options in detail. While chain clinics offer efficiency as an advantage, it also means that every step of the process is streamlined.

My advice: No matter how attractive the price seems, make sure to do three things once you arrive—check in person that the equipment and probes are properly packaged, ask the clinic to provide a clear quote outlining all the services included, and inquire whether post-procedure care is covered. With these three steps taken, you can feel more at ease even if the price is low.

Have any questions you’d like to clarify first?

If you have any questions about Lizon’s prices, booking process, or suitable treatments, feel free to add me on WeChat and ask. I’ll share with you what I know about the actual situation, but I won’t make decisions for you—after all, when it comes to skin care, an in-person consultation is still necessary to determine the best course of action.
