For this trip to Seoul, I scheduled all my medical beauty appointments in the Gangnam area, which is both familiar to me and most convenient to access. A friend had always recommended a Dermatology clinic run by a female director that offers one-on-one consultations at the same price as Korean clinics without any pressure to buy services—this clinic is called Libhib (리브힙의원), located just a minute’s walk from Exit 10 of Gangnam Station. Before I went, I booked an appointment through BeautsGO. After visiting the clinic myself, I put together this first-person guide covering everything people want to know, focusing on whether it’s right for you rather than just listing prices.

Meet Libhib in 30 Seconds
- Official Name: 리브힙의원 / Libhib Clinic (commonly known in Chinese as “Libhib Dermatology”)
- Address: 9th Floor, No. 407, Gangnam-daero, Seocho-gu, Seoul (서울 서초구 강남대로 407 9층)
- Transportation: Take Subway Line 2 to Gangnam Station, exit No. 10, and walk for about 1 minute. Cross the road upon exiting, enter the building, take the elevator to the 9th floor, and turn right to arrive.
- Business hours: Monday to Friday, 10:30–20:30; Saturday, 10:30–17:00; closed on Sundays and public holidays in South Korea
- Representative Director: Kim Soo-hyun (김수현 / Kim Soo-hyun), with a background in medicine from Ewha Womans University, she operates under a “single-director system” — handling everything from initial consultations to post-surgery care personally.
- Core focus: Non-invasive anti-aging treatments (HIFU, Titanium Lifting, ONDA) × Same price as those in South Korea × A “minimalist beauty” approach that isn’t aggressively promoted
- Features: 3 private consultation rooms, dedicated Chinese-speaking room manager for the entire experience, no general anesthesia available but intravenous sedation is offered

Why did I notice it?
What worries me the most about medical aesthetics in South Korea isn’t the high costs, but rather the aggressive sales tactics. Online reviews of Reborn repeatedly highlight several key points: “Personal consultation by a female director,” “Same prices as those in China,” and “No forced addition of extra services.” Once I visited the clinic, there was only one patient being treated at a time on the entire floor, creating a very peaceful atmosphere. The interior design, featuring off-white tones and light wood finishes, doesn’t feel oppressive at all, and the three private consultation rooms offer much better privacy compared to regular Dermatology clinics. Before the consultation, they use AI skin analysis to identify issues first, followed by a discussion with the director. Throughout the process, the Chinese-speaking director is always present, so there’s no need to struggle to communicate in English or Korean.

If you’re also comparing Dermatology clinics in the Gangnam and Sinsa areas, I’ve previously written in-depth reviews on visiting Made U’s main branch in Nonhyeon, Its Me in Cheongdam, Gold J with identical prices for Koreans and foreigners at the Seonnyeong branch, the consultations provided by Theliz’s director Kang Ji-hui, and The Ippo in Sinsa that operates round the clock. You can refer to these articles to find the best option for you.
My experience visiting the clinic (for those visiting for the first time)
- Before your appointment: Select a time slot on BeautsGO, note “Chinese required,” and attach a photo of yourself without makeup so the clinic director can assess your skin condition first. If you request a consultation with Director Kim Soo-hyun, a reservation fee of ₩30,000 is required (this will be refunded or deducted on the day of the consultation).
- Arrival: Exit No. 10 at Gangnam Station, cross the road, enter the building, take the elevator to the 9th floor and turn right. It’s recommended to book at least 7 days in advance during weekends and peak seasons, as it’s very difficult to get a slot on the same day.
- Registration: Confirm your name at the counter and fill out the Chinese consultation form; Liben operates on a fully reserved system, serving only one group of guests at a time.
- Detection and Consultation: First, an AI skin analysis is conducted, after which the supervisor from the Chinese-speaking team takes you to the consultation room. Dr. Kim Soo-hyun himself reviews the report and listens to your needs. When I mentioned sagging contours and a Double Chin, she suggested starting with Titanium Lifting to tighten the area, rather than rushing to recommend Filler treatment.
- Quotation and Procedure: The price list clearly lists the services, number of sessions, and dosage, with identical prices for both Korean and Chinese clients; treatment begins only after the total amount is confirmed, and intravenous sedation (painless injection) is available during the procedure.
- After the procedure: Ice compresses in a dedicated care area plus LED therapy for relaxation. The chief physician in Chinese gave me some post-op instructions, after which I headed straight down to explore the shopping areas around Gangnam Station. It’s recommended to schedule about 2 hours for the entire process.

The figures above represent the reference prices for 2026. Actual prices may vary depending on the number of treatments, dosage, and any ongoing promotions for that month, and they do not include a 10% tax. Reebon adopts an “equal price policy for Chinese and South Korean customers,” meaning foreigners pay the same rate as local South Koreans. Popular package combinations (ONDA + Titanium Lifting, HIFU + Titanium Lifting) are usually around 15–20% cheaper than treating them separately. It’s recommended to check the current price list on BeautsGO before your trip.

8 things I double-check before making an appointment
| Focus Point 1|Single-physician system – the same doctor handles everything from consultation to post-surgery care |
Lee Bon adopts a “single-director system,” with Director Kim Soo-hyun personally handling all consultations—a practice that’s quite rare in the Gangnam area. This approach helps prevent the situation where consultations are done by one director while actual procedures are carried out by someone else. However, it should be noted that certain procedures may be performed by department heads. If you really insist on having the director handle every step personally, make sure to confirm this clearly when booking an appointment.
| Focus Point 2|Appointments are in high demand – booking 7 days in advance ensures better availability |
Reben operates on a fully reserved basis, accepting only one group of guests at a time. It’s extremely popular, so it’s almost impossible to get a reservation on weekends or during peak seasons. I recommend booking at least 7 days in advance through BeautsGO, and include a photo of yourself without makeup in the notes so the Chinese-speaking manager can grasp the key points first. If you decide to show up last minute, there’s a high chance you’ll end up wasting your time.
| Focus Point 3|A reservation fee is required for an in-person consultation with the designated director |
To schedule a personal consultation with Director Kim Soo-hyun, a deposit of ₩30,000 is required. This amount will be refunded or deducted directly from the treatment cost on the day of the consultation. It’s not an additional fee, but you should factor it into your budget before you go, so you won’t have to deal with cash or specific payment methods on the spot.
| Focus Point 4|Be Proactive in Noting Chinese Language Services |
The clinic has a full-time Chinese-speaking director, though they aren’t available at all times. When I made my appointment through BeautsGO, I noted “need Chinese assistance,” and from filling out the forms, the consultation, to post-op explanations, I received support in Chinese throughout the process. If your Korean isn’t good, don’t skip this step. (Another clinic that also emphasizes direct consultations by the director and transparent pricing is led by Director Jiang Zhihui of theliz—worth comparing as well.)
| Focus Point 5|Quotations are tax-exclusive – verify before checkout |
The figures listed on the price sheet are tax-exclusive. In South Korea, a 10% tax is usually added to medical beauty treatments. Liben claims it doesn’t charge extra fees for upgrades during the procedure, but I still recommend asking again before signing the agreement whether the amount included is tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive, to avoid any surprises at checkout.
| Focus Point 6|General anesthesia is not available; intravenous sedation is an option |
Liben does not offer general anesthesia for sleep, but it provides intravenous sedation (painless injections). In practice, the level of pain is well under control—most procedures are within an acceptable range, and recovery is fast. If you’re concerned about general anesthesia, this option is actually more reassuring. However, if you “absolutely require general anesthesia,” then Liben may not be the right choice for you.
| Focus Point 7 | “Subtraction Aesthetics” — Tighten First, Then Fill In |
Director Kim’s approach is to first use AI to identify the root causes of sagging, then prioritize Titanium Lifting and HIFU to tighten the contours, rather than immediately injecting large amounts of Filler. This method is ideal for those who desire a natural look without a stiff appearance. However, if you’re looking for quick results with a very limited budget—given that Lipben targets the mid-to-high-end market—the minimum cost per treatment isn’t among the lowest in the industry.
| Focus Point 8|Body treatments can be bundled—don’t forget to set aside time for that |
Liben offers comprehensive treatment packages for the back, waist, abdomen, arms, and other body areas—perfect for those who want to address various contours at once. It’s recommended to schedule about 2 hours per visit (for testing, consultation, and treatment), so as not to overfill your schedule. You can go shopping in the Gangnam Station area right after the treatment, but it’s advised to rest for 1–2 hours after deeper treatments.
